Integrating Women Leaders Foundation Unveils Status of Allyship-in-Action Research Study

INDIANAPOLIS, July 19, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Integration of the Women Leaders Foundation (IWL) presents key findings from its State of the Alliance in Action 2022 benchmark study. It is the first study to measure the perceived practice of alliance with women in corporate America today. today.

IWL distributed the survey to medium-sized companies (300 to 2,000 employees) and large companies (over 2,000 employees). Most of the large companies surveyed had more than 10,000 employees. Survey topics included general employee attitudes toward their organizations, perceived advancement of women and minority groups, and workplace behavior, including the frequency and prevalence of microaggressions, and specific ally actions taken. and not taken within their organizations.
The results of the study revealed critical gender differences in how men and women view and experience alliance in the workplace. The results also show the striking discrepancies between how men, white women, and women of color experience microaggressions within their organizations.
